Our latest Price Guide Movers On The Up chart ranks the Miura P400S, the second and more powerful generation cars built from 1969-1971, in 15th position, and the wider-tracked and more fancied SV (1971-1972) sneaking in to the top 30. This sector had enjoyed strong growth over the past 15 years but had gone off the boil in the last couple of years.

An 11% lift for the P400S gives a price range of £55k-£1m while a more modest 3.6% movement gives the P400SV a £1.6m-£2.2m range. Despite its maturity as a collectable car, the Miura remains unusual in that the final and optimium specification makes the SV more desirable than its P400S and P400 predessors. It gives those earlier models plenty of headroom for future growth as witnessed by the lates P400S price movement..
