Market Watch: TVR Chimaera prices get into gear
after looking stalled for a long time, TVR Chimaera prices seem to have got into gear with early signs of upward movement. They still seem great value. According to our latest data, prices of 4.0 and 4.3-litre TVR Chimaeras have started to inch upwards.
The Price Guide Movers table in the latest issue reveals the top 53 climbers since our last update. Increases range from 1.5% to 46%, with the smaller-engined Chimaeras at the lower end of the scale, showing gains of 3.6%. That represents early signs of renewed interest after a long period of stagnancy.
It takes rough examples up to £4.5k, good cars to £7.25k and the mint-concours range to £11.25-14.5k. Still great value for such a thrilling, handsome and usable car. And that’s before you consider the heart-pumping sound from that Rover V8 engine.
